Smoked Chicken Recipe- Bar B Qued Flavour
One of the quick chicken recipes I know. It’s best served at a high tea or kitty party. Great add-on to a dinner especially, if you are bored of cooking chicken gravy and chicken karahi. My mom makes it for special events like birthdays and anniversary celebrations.

Smoked Chicken
You will need;
Small chicken pieces with bone 1 kg
Add chicken tikka masala (1/2 pack- you can take any brand and more if you like it spicy) to 2 cups of yogurt.
Coat the chicken pieces with this marinade. Marinate for 2-3 hours.
Put 2 tbsp oil in a wok, add the marinated chicken and let it cook till the chicken is tender. This will take about 10 minutes.
Next, you will need a piece of charcoal – a one inch cube piece will do. Heat it on a stove top until it turns partially red. Take an old chapati (bread) piece (or a tin plate), put it on top of the cooked chicken. Now place the coal on the piece.
Carefully add a few drops of oil to the surface of the burning coal. This will help for smoke to come out. Quickly cover the wok with a heavy lid to retain all the smoke inside. Let the smoke stay in for 10 minutes. This lends a smoked barbequed taste to the chicken.
You can fry some potato chips or wedges with this. Serve it in a flat platter.
A recipe that guarantees appreciation.
