Fried Chicken & Milk Biscuits – RJ Wes Malik’s Starter of the Week
I’m a big fan of fried chicken. When I used to live in Toronto we used to eat at Popeye’s (A halal fried chicken place) quite a bit.
They always served milk biscuits with their fried chicken, which I love. Moving back to Pakistan in ’02 we found that no one makes milk biscuits here so we (my wife and I) tested with some different recipes and after lots of experiments we perfected our home made Fried Chicken and Milk Biscuits, which is the ultimate weekend food combination.
Make the Fried Chicken any way you like, but you’ve got to be very very precise with the biscuits. If they don’t turn out right in your first try, don’t worry, try again, you’ll get it!
Bon Appetit!
