Guest Chefling: brownie-in-a-mug
I have a hyper-active sweet tooth which craves for ice creams, cakes and anything sweet, all during the day and even at wee hours of the night. But there are times when a chefling is just lazy or tired after work or just not in the mood to stay long in the kitchen! That’s when brownie in a mug comes to rescue!
So what do you need besides a mug?
- ¼ cup castor sugar
- ¼ cup flour (maida)
- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 Tbsp water
- 3 Tbsp cooking oil
- A pinch of salt
- Almonds/ Walnuts – Optional
Put all the above ingredients in a mug and mix well with a spoon. The mixture should be smooth. Microwave for 1 minute and 40 seconds. And… You’re done! Grab some ice cream or a good ol’ cup of tea/ coffee. Enjoy your soft… not too gooey but just the right amount of crispy top brownie in a mug! The simplest & easiest comfort food you can have in under 2 minutes
