Dessert Directory is the first luxury designer dessert boutique here in Lahore. They present a unique concept: bringing all home-based bakers under one roof, where you have the opportunity to choose from your favorite home-based chefs for hand-crafted desserts.

The venture aims to provide a platform to expand the reach of these home-based entrepreneurs by bringing all their sweet creations in one place all the sweet-tooths out there to admire and order for themselves. Chef For The Weekend and The Cakery Bakery appear to be the most popular bakers at Dessert Directory for now.

Entering the patisserie is a feast for the senses. One simply cannot take one’s eyes off the glamorous display: rows and rows of beautiful cakes and cookie jars. The interior is beautiful, from the ornamentation on the walls to the furniture inside, everything is just exquisite.

You’ll probably end up just standing there drooling at the display cases. We’re guessing it’s going to take you a while to decide what you want to order (if you’re able to decide at all that is). You have a lot to choose from here; from cheesecakes to tiramisu. Prices at the Dessert Directory range between Rs. 150 to Rs. 500 per item. My personal favorite is the divine Lindt Belgian Tart by Chef For The Weekend. I’d also recommend trying Cookie Dough by The Cakery Bakery.

Another element that stood out for me was the warm welcome given to all visitors by the ladies running Dessert Directory. I felt they genuinely wanted to make my visit memorable. The ambiance is homely and welcoming.
